EMANUELA LICENZIATO
CINEMATOGRAPHER

Emanuela Licenziato is a Director of Photography who graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome under the guidance of Giuseppe Lanci (A.I.C.).

Her work explores the relationship between light, time, and space, making light a central narrative element and treating image quality as the visual translation of emotion. She prefers shooting on film to observe and capture visual truth.

She has shot on 16mm for works such as White Rock, Phantasma, and Maskara, and digitally for titles including Lamia, Paracadute, Pity Party, and Chiacchierià — the latter awarded Best Director oh Photography at Vesuvio International Movie Awards; Best Documentary at the Quartieri Spagnoli Film Festival and Best DocuFilm at the Mediterraneo Festival Corto.

Maskara received recognition at the Europe Music Video Awards and in several international music showcases. Her projects have been presented at Alice nella Città, Laceno d’Oro, Corti d’Argento, and Bogoshorts.

She collaborates with a range of film and production companies, including Malombra Films, Lupin Film, Veevelo Production, and the Politecnico di Torino.
